About Us

As an acrylic artist based full time in Edmonds, my paintings depict an appreciation of local streetscapes, historic buildings and views of Puget Sound. Originally from San Diego County, the1970s surf scene informs some of my work. You will often see a red van make an appearance in many of my paintings. It is a personal homage to my surfing days, now long gone, and to the first vehicle I owned—a 1968 white VW van. As for the red van, the color simply pops in a painting.
